I haven't even started my Civ Pro or Crim oulines, and I am three weeks out of date for Torts and two for Property. I haven't finished my research for my legal process paper, and I have this dinner to go to tonight with David because I suck and forgot his birthday...and Lisa's. Law school has made me a bad friend, I think. PLUS, I just discovered that my Monday torts assignment is 43 frikin' pages long!!!! OMG. I am going to die. And I haven't done my tazes and am afraid to do them because I don't know what I have spent on anything because It's been 7 months since I had an income.

Fortunately for me, I have fallen completely for MB, so I have something to distract me now. I keep watching his concert on DVD and it makes me want to meet him more and more. Can you say, "crazed fan"? That's me. But I am going to blame it on the stress of impending finals and little time to catch up. Crap. Crap. Crap. Crap. Crap.

Michael Buble

I still want to marry Michael Buble. He is 30, I've discovered, so all I have to do is meet him and convince him I'm the girl for him...but without being a stalker, because celebrities don't want to marry stalkers. (is he a celebrity?)I must set myself apart from the groupies. How to do it...that is the question. But maybe if I'm even thinking about how to meet someone famous-ish it means I'vealready failed at not being a groupie/stalker. Sad.

I took Stephanie to my hairdresser the other day. She looked hot. I am pretty sure she can successfully stalk her own lead singer now. Her concert is on the 7th. I'll let you know how that works out.

I miss my friends. I have a lot of work to do before Monday. I need to write long overdue letters to people about my progress in Law School. I am behind. Sad. 6 weeks left and then the year is done.

Must...keep...going.

BEST CONCERT EVER!

Seriously. I had no idea that Michael Buble′ had such sex appeal, but there were teenagers everywhere screaming out his name. And by the end of the concert I was right there with them. He is sooooo HOT! An amazing voice, funny, and tons of energy. He ran through the whole audience so we could all get a good look, and appoligized to all the guys who had been forced to come by their girlfriends. Every time he sang...so beautiful. At the end he had us dancing in the isles, and I was about 30 feet away. Then he sang the last bit without the mic. Soooo cool. He did Johnny Cash and Michael Jackson, rapped a bit to entertain the 9 and 13 year olds in the front row, and even did a line or two from "My Hump" which made us all crack up, except for my parents who had no idea what he was doing. So from now on, he is my favorite, and I plan to stalk him for the rest of my days. For your viewing pleasure, a picture montage.

Well, gang. It has been quite a week. Unfortunately, because of your age(s) I can't really give any detaill. That, in itself, might make you think more happened than really did, but it wasn't that big a deal. It was just...interesting, is all. and now I have this little grin creeping onto my face whenever I think about it. If more develops, I'll fill you in.

Silica Gel

You know those little white packets that come with labels that say do not eat? Well, Rani/Gato found one in her play box and gnawed the wrapper off. It doesn't look like she ate much, if any, but given that she has seemed a bit sick, I am worried. So, I went on line and found out a few things that I thought would amuse you.

ain't the point of a dessicant is that it sucks moisture like a... uh, never mind. I mean, that's what it does, though, right? It tries to make everything in proximity to it as dry as possible... I mean, eating silica itself prolly wouldn't hurt you; it's just sand... But when it's got a punch like that, you'd end up a shriveled withered creature from the inside out, yeurgh.

One of our cats loves it, for some bizarre reason, and will chew open any silica gel packets we leave out and consume the contents. We discourage this as much as possible (and try not to leave silica gel lying around), but she doesn't seem to suffer any ill effects.

And my personal favorite...

dude, this stuff sucks to eat. its not fatal... but it sucks a lot. especially when mixed with tequila and beef fajitas. take my word on this--your body rejects everything that is not bolted down inside of it, and continues to do so for a good 12 hours. not a good thing.

I think she'll be ok, but I am little worried about these people.

The Socratic Method

I think of each class like a nature special on the Serengetti Plains of Africa, where the lioness hunts her prey carefully, while the innocent gazelle nervously graze. As the lioness (professor) moves in for the kill (looks at her roll sheet), the gazelle herd becomes noticeably unsettled, anticipating the strike. Several begin to run (panic and stop playing solitaire on their computers), and the herd is sent into an all out frenzy. Then, suddenly, the chosen prey is downed (called on by the professor), and the herd stops, each member filled with the relief of not having been chosen, and they all begin to graze (play solitaire, IM each other) anew, as the lion rips into their lost comrade.

It's 9:30 and I've only done homework for one class. And Cappy has decided to start increasing the size of our reading assignments and then haul ass through them so we cover every thing this year.

I went home this weekend. Gato took her first major road trip. She did well and didn't even get carsick. She also played with my stuffed mooses. She took one off the edge of the table actually. *thump* and then scurried behind the furniture so I couldn't catch her. Typical.

My parents were so cute. I felt so appreciated. It was also great to just sleep and watch TV. I had Indian food and ...ok, that's about it, but it was good!I get to go home again for spring break in two weeks. CAN'T WAIT!!! But I am going to have to work everyday to get my outlines and rough draft of my brief done. Oh well. I am going to have 5 weeks vacation this summer before I head off to England, so I guess I can't really complain. Life is good.

I hate Kathy Smith. Her beginner's step routine is boring and because she so into using her arms, I have had two of the worst headaches ever following her workouts. NECK CRAMP! That's in fact why I have only read for one class so far, and I didn't do any laundry, clean my mountain of dishes, or go grocery shopping either. It's all Kathy's fault.

Also today, I was able to confirm a rumor that there are miniature cows. Really.

No, that isn't me. I've got at least 2 feet on that cow. And nicer hair.
Quote of the day:

"...only to find it was fact P's slender cow."

I made the mistake of putting on my Hawaiian music. I really, really want to be in Hawaii right now.

"FRIENDS OF JUSTICE AND WISDOM"

I swore I'd never do it, but it just happened. I just joined a fraternity! Of course, it's a legal fraternity, with members like Sandra Day O'Connor and Antonin Scalia, so it's not like I have totally gone off the deep end. They gave us a pin, and we're going to get a certificate we can frame. And maybe I'll even get to be an officer. You never know. I'm pretty sure I just secured myself a position in some important government office. Yup.

I have renamed Rani. Her new name is Gato, because I couldn't have one and that's how I got her. Plus, I just sort of think of her as a cat anyway. She's furry and cute, and she makes me feel needed. Gato helps me do my homework, and by help I mean she climbs on my book and tries to lick the highlighting off the page, and thenclimbs my neck and makes me itch. I think I am allergic to rat dander. She's actully a little distracting, but in the good way that a phone call from your parents is, just when you need to take a break.

I actually said 2 intelligible thinks in Covv6ntracts this week. zd (sorry, Gato it helping me type). I rarely give the right answer in there, so it is nice. It's also refreshing since Property makes absolutely no sense anymore, and Civil Procedure has officially become the most boring class ever. EVER!!!

I may be going to Oxford this summer. No, I will be going to Oxford this summer to study abroad with the English and have tea delivered to my room. How fabulous is that?! My parents may fly out before the program so we can go see shows and explore jolly old England together. My mom wasn't that excited until she heard that there is a deer park at the university, and they have white deer. Now she's psyched. I'm totally psyched too. OMG!!!
