I have a new rat. Her name is Rani (Raw-knee), which means queen. She is wonderful. I love her already. Stephanie finds her tail repulsive and doesn't want to have anything to do with her, but Stephanie stayed with me until I could get all the supplies together and held the box in the car coming home. What a trooper. Thank you Stephanie.
Note: there are no pictures on the internet that do justice to Rani's adorable face, so I'll have to post a picture later.

I don't hate Rani! I"m just not a rat person..in fact i'm the type of girl who jumps on the table and starts screaming until the man of the house comes over and saves the rat/mouse by putting it outside...so...i may spend my time at your house sitting on the table but i wont hold it against rani
I hope you know their is no man of either of our houses to protect you, and I dare say, my house is certainly bound to stay man free. So your best bet is to do a little aversion therapy and get over this senseless fear. She is so fuzzy and cute. And she is afraid of us.
well when we live together i fully intend on adopting a man to protect me from your "pet"
Manky can always rescue me until then...
Gee, I guess Manky won't be coming over to watch Grey's Anatomy this Sunday. Rani's safety comes first.
but manky is my protective man replacement! how will i fight back when your rat tries to kill me?!
I could eat dinner before I come over. I doan eat EVERY cow I see. Only the first one.
Now my rat is a cow? What is wrong with you people!?
Cows are not scary! that is def. not a cow!
