Mommy is out of ICU and making good progress. Hurrah! I headed back to school today because it turns out I am going to need to take care of her next week while my dad is out of town. My teachers are going to be confused. I am behind a bit, so I am feeling a little stressed, but the fact that Mom is not crazy from the meds or in tremendous pain (both the themes of the weekend) makes me happy.

I missed one day of class, and already Manky had taken over my seat. I have no idea what will happen if I miss a whole week.
